Dr. Christiana C. Succar is an English Language Arts Teacher, Scholar and Researcher. She taught in the public school system for 21 years Secondary English language arts and trained, coached and mentored teachers. She is now an independent scholar and teacher consultant. Her research focuses on culturally relevant and sustaining pedagogy. She also conducts professional development in that area to teachers and scholars alike.
